If you're traveling by car, start from the Teide National Park Visitor Center located at Ctra. TF-21, near the base of Mount Teide. Take the TF-21 road towards La Orotava and then merge onto the TF-24. Continue on TF-24 until you reach the intersection with Ctra. al Roque de los Muchachos. Follow the signs for El Paso. After approximately 10 kilometers, you'll arrive at Mirador del Espigón del Roque, which is well marked on the road. There is no parking fee at this viewpoint.

To reach Mirador del Espigón del Roque using public transportation, take the bus line 348 from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to La Caldera. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services can be limited. Once you arrive at La Caldera, you will need to walk approximately 5.5 kilometers along the Ctra. al Roque de los Muchachos to reach the viewpoint. This route is uphill, so ensure you have adequate footwear and water. Note that there may be a small fare for the bus, typically around €3-€5 each way.
