Car
If you are driving, head towards TF-21, the main road through Teide National Park. From the park entrance, follow signs for the 'Observatorio Astrofísico'. The observatory is located at coordinates 28.757281, -17.8849853. You will drive past the Cable Car station (Teleférico del Teide) and continue on the TF-21 until you see the signs for the observatory. There is a parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Titsa bus line 348 from the main bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to 'Las Cañadas del Teide'. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to reach the observatory. It is advisable to check the latest bus schedules on the Titsa website before your visit. Additionally, be prepared for a moderate walk uphill, so wear suitable footwear.
