Walking
From Alcázar, exit the main entrance and head towards the Plaza de Zocodover. Walk straight through the plaza until you reach the intersection with Calle Hombre de Palo. Turn left onto Calle Hombre de Palo and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You should see the entrance to the Alcántara Bridge in front of you. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
From Alcázar, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Plaza de Zocodover'. Take bus line 12 towards 'Nuevo Mundo'. After about 5 minutes, get off at the 'Puente de Alcántara' stop. The bridge will be a short walk from the bus stop. This option may incur a cost of approximately €1.50 for a single journey.

For a more scenic route, exit Alcázar and head towards the river. Follow the path along the Tagus River, which will lead you to Alcántara Bridge.
