From Valencia, head to the Valencia Nord train station (Estación del Norte). Purchase a ticket to Sagunto, which is on the Cercanías line (C-1 or C-2). Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sagunto station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside.

At the Sagunto train station, you can catch a local bus that will take you closer to Sagunto Castle. Look for bus line 112, which operates between Sagunto and the surrounding areas. The bus will drop you near the town center. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you are close to the castle.

Once you are near the town center, you can walk to Sagunto Castle. Head towards the Calle del Castillo. The castle is located at the top of a hill, and the walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs for 'Castillo' or ask locals for directions if needed. Enjoy the scenic views as you approach the castle entrance.
