If you're already in L'Eixample, head towards the nearest main street, which is Calle de Colón. Walk east along Calle de Colón until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Paz. Turn right onto Avenida de la Paz and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Paz. Turn left onto Calle de la Paz and walk straight until you arrive at Plaça de la Porta de la Mar, where you will find the impressive Porta de la Mar.

If you prefer using public transport, head to the nearest metro station, which is Xàtiva (Line 3 or Line 5). Take the metro towards the direction of the airport and get off at the next stop, which is Colón. From Colón, exit the station and walk east along Calle de Colón. Continue straight as it turns into Avenida de la Paz, and then turn left onto Calle de la Paz, which will lead you directly to Plaça de la Porta de la Mar.

You can also take a bus to reach Porta de la Mar. Look for bus stops near your location and catch routes 2, 4, or 22 that head towards Ciutat Vella. Get off at the stop named 'Paseo de la Alameda - Plaza de la Porta de la Mar.' From there, it's just a short walk to the monument, which is located in the square.
