Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Zaragoza's central bus station (Estación Intermodal de Zaragoza-Delicias), exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus number 34 or 51 towards 'Plaza de España'. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop 'Plaza de España', disembark and walk south towards 'Calle Alfonso I'. Continue straight on 'Calle Alfonso I' for about 10 minutes, passing through the vibrant area filled with shops and cafes. Follow the road as it turns into 'Calle de la Independencia', and keep walking until you reach the intersection with 'Calle del Coso'. Turn left onto 'Calle del Coso', and then take the first right onto 'Calle de Don Jaime I'. Continue walking for a few more minutes, and you will arrive at the Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar, which will be in front of you.

  • Public Transportation (Tram)

    From Plaza de España, you can also take the tram line '1' towards 'Valdespartera'. Get on the tram at the 'Plaza de España' stop and travel for two stops. Disembark at the 'Basilica del Pilar' stop. Upon exiting the tram, you will see the Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar directly in front of you. The tram ride takes about 5 minutes.

  • Walking from El Tubo

    If you are near El Tubo, a popular tapas area, exit onto 'Calle del Coso' and head towards the Plaza del Pilar. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with 'Calle de Don Jaime I'. Turn right and continue straight for a few minutes. You will soon see the magnificent Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, which is located in the Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar.

  • Walking from the Zaragoza Cathedral

    If you are at the Zaragoza Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head north on 'Calle de la Catedral'. Turn left onto 'Calle de Don Jaime I'. Continue straight along this street until you reach the Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar, which will be on your left after a short walk.
