    If you are starting from Plaza del Pilar, head south down Calle Alfonso I for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaza de España. From there, take the exit onto Avenida de César Augusto. Puerta del Carmen will be on your left after approximately 5 minutes.

    From the main bus station, take Line 34 towards Parque de Oriente. Disembark at the stop 'César Augusto - Puerta del Carmen', which is right next to the landmark. This is a direct route and should take about 15 minutes.
