Getting There

• Car

  If you're in Arugam Bay, start by heading southwest on Main Street (A4 road). Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach Pottuvil. Once in Pottuvil, look for signs to Hijra Nagar. Turn onto the road leading to Hijra Nagar and follow it for 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign pointing towards 'Ten Gates Point'. Continue straight until you reach the destination located at WR24+XQF, Hijra Nagar, Pottuvil. Parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation (Tuk Tuk)

  From any location in Arugam Bay, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Ten Gates Point. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Ten Gates Point' or show them the address WR24+XQF, Hijra Nagar, Pottuvil. The ride should take around 10–15 minutes and cost approximately 300–500 LKR, depending on your starting point and the time of day.

• Walking

  For those who prefer a more scenic route, you can walk from Arugam Bay to Ten Gates Point. Start from the beach and walk along the coastline heading south. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach Pottuvil. Once in Pottuvil, follow the directions mentioned for cars, turning onto the road to Hijra Nagar. This walk may take approximately 1 hour, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
