From Colombo, take the Southern Expressway towards Galle. Continue on the expressway until you reach Matara. From Matara, take the Wellawaya-Beliatta-Kataragama Road towards Kataragama. Yala National Park is located approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Kataragama. Follow the signboards to the park entrance.
