    By Car

    From Colombo, take the Southern Expressway towards Galle. Continue on the expressway until you reach Matara. From Matara, take the Wellawaya-Beliatta-Kataragama Road towards Kataragama. Yala National Park is located approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Kataragama. Follow the signboards to the park entrance.

    By Public Transportation

    From Colombo, take a bus or train to Matara. From Matara, you can take a bus or hire a tuk-tuk to Kataragama. Once in Kataragama, you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk to reach Yala National Park. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the journey.
