Walking
If you are in the Bentota town area, head south on Galle Road (the main road through Bentota). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Pitaramba Road. Turn left onto Pitaramba Road and walk for about 500 meters. You will see Bentota Beach on your right, just past the several beach resorts and restaurants lining the coast.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Bentota and start from the town center. Cycle south along Galle Road for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the intersection with Pitaramba Road, turn left and continue cycling for about 500 meters. Bentota Beach will be on your right. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the coastal views.

Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk in Bentota town and tell the driver that you want to go to Bentota Beach. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to your destination. The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. You will be dropped off near the beach at 123a Pitaramba Road.

Public Bus
From the Bentota bus station, take a bus heading towards Galle. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Bentota Beach. The buses are frequent and the journey will take around 5-10 minutes. Once you get off, walk about 200 meters down Pitaramba Road toward the beach.
