If you're driving, start by heading to Nuwara Eliya. From Nuwara Eliya, take the A5 road towards Horton Plains National Park. Continue straight on the A5 for approximately 16 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Horton Plains. There is an entrance fee of 1,500 LKR for foreign nationals (as of 2023). After entering the park, follow the signs to the World's End viewpoint, which is about a 9-kilometer hike from the entrance.

To reach Great World's End Drop via public transport, take a bus from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. The journey takes about 2-3 hours, costing around 300 LKR. Once in Nuwara Eliya, you can take a taxi or tuk-tuk to Horton Plains National Park. Expect to pay about 1,500 LKR for the taxi ride. After reaching the park entrance, you will need to purchase an entrance ticket (1,500 LKR for foreign nationals) and then hike approximately 9 kilometers to reach the Great World's End viewpoint.
