If you're driving to Gangaramaya Temple, start from the center of Colombo. Head towards Galle Road (A2) and look for the signs directing you to Colombo 02. Once on Galle Road, continue until you reach the roundabout near the Beira Lake. Take the exit onto Sri Jinarathana Road. The temple will be on your left at number 61. Look for available parking nearby as it may be limited.

To reach Gangaramaya Temple using public transportation, you can take a bus from various parts of Colombo. If you are near Fort Railway Station, look for buses heading towards Colombo 02 or any bus showing 'Borella' as a destination. Get off at the 'Gangaramaya Temple' stop or 'Colombo Museum' stop, which is a short walk away. From there, walk towards Sri Jinarathana Road, and you will find the temple at number 61. Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk from any nearby location, simply tell the driver 'Gangaramaya Temple' and they will take you directly.
