Walking
If you are in Colombo Fort, start by heading towards the Colombo Fort Railway Station. From the station, walk along the main street, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha, heading south until you reach the intersection with Galle Face Road. Turn left onto Galle Face Road and continue walking until you reach the Galle Face Green. From here, turn onto the Promenade and walk past the green area. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha and follow it until you reach the Viharamahadevi Children's Park. The Anagarika Dharmapala Statue is located inside the park, near the main entrance.
Public Transport
From Colombo Fort, take a bus from the Colombo Central Bus Stand heading towards Borella. Ask the conductor to let you know when to get off at the Viharamahadevi Children's Park stop. After disembarking, walk towards the park entrance. The Anagarika Dharmapala Statue is located within the park premises, to your right as you enter.
Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a tuk-tuk, you can find one at various locations around Colombo Fort or near hotels. Simply tell the driver 'Viharamahadevi Children's Park' or show them the address: 'Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 00700'. The driver will take you directly to the park entrance. Once you arrive, the Anagarika Dharmapala Statue is located inside the park, easily accessible from the entrance.
