Walking
If you are in the Colombo Fort area, head towards the Galle Face Green. From there, walk along the coast towards the north until you reach the intersection with Galle Road. This will take approximately 20 minutes. Once at the intersection, turn left onto Galle Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see Chelsea Garden on your right side, located in the Colombo 03 area.
Bus
From any central bus station in Colombo, catch a bus heading towards Colombo 03 or Galle Road. Look for routes that mention 'Borella' or 'Dehiwala' as they typically pass through this area. Once you get off at the main stop on Galle Road, Chelsea Garden is just a short 5-minute walk away. Head in the direction of the coast, and the garden will be on your right after crossing the main intersection.
Tuk-Tuk
You can easily find a tuk-tuk from any central point in Colombo. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Chelsea Garden in Colombo 03. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have the address ready or show them on your phone to ensure they know the exact location.
Train
If you are near the Colombo Fort Railway Station, take a train heading towards Mount Lavinia and get off at the Bambalapitiya station. From there, take a tuk-tuk or a bus towards Galle Road. It's about a 10-minute ride. Once on Galle Road, Chelsea Garden will be a short walk away on your right.
