Bus
If you are near the Colombo Fort area, head to the Fort Bus Station. From there, take a bus heading towards Pettah. Look for buses numbered 133, 149, or 150. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at W E Bastian Mawatha. Once you arrive, the Floating Market is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head south on W E Bastian Mawatha, and you will see the market on your left.

For a more direct route, hire a tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver 'Floating Market, Pettah' or show them the address: WVM4+344, W E Bastian Mawatha, Colombo 01000. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the market entrance.

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to the Floating Market. From the Colombo Town Hall, head east on Galle Face Terrace, then turn left onto Galle Road. Continue straight until you reach Pettah. Make a right onto W E Bastian Mawatha, and you will find the Floating Market along this road. It is approximately a 25-minute walk.
