    If you are starting from the Colombo Fort Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Janadhipathi Mawatha. Turn left onto Janadhipathi Mawatha and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large buildings on your right. King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe's Prison Room is located at number 69 Janadhipathi Mawatha, just before you reach the intersection with the Galle Face Green. The historical landmark is on the right side of the street.

    If you are at the Colombo National Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Janadhipathi Mawatha. Turn right onto Janadhipathi Mawatha and continue walking for about 800 meters. You will see King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe's Prison Room on your left at number 69, just before you reach the Galle Face Green.
