From Colombo Fort, head to the Colombo Central Bus Stand. Look for a bus heading to Thalangama or Malabe. The bus number 138 is a good option. Once you board the bus, inform the conductor that you're going to Thalangama Lake. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. When you arrive at the Thalangama junction, get off the bus. From the junction, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Thalangama Lake.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Colombo. Simply ask the driver to take you to Thalangama Lake. It's best to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
