Walking
If you are near Colombo Fort, head east on Chatham Street towards the Colombo Harbour. Continue straight onto Sir Chittampalam A Gardiner Mawatha. Walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha. Turn left onto Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha and walk straight for about 500 meters. Viharamahadevi Park will be on your right side.

Find a nearby bus stop and take a bus heading towards Borella. Most buses will have 'Borella' or 'Colombo 08' displayed. The bus ride should take around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the traffic. Get off at the Borella Junction and then walk straight along the road for about 300 meters. Turn right onto Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha, and Viharamahadevi Park will be on your left.
