Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Slave Island, head towards the main road, Galle Road (also known as A2). You can find this road by walking east from the Slave Island Railway Station. Once you reach Galle Road, turn left and walk along the sidewalk. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see Galle Face Green on your right. Look for the large green area that runs parallel to the ocean.

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a tuk-tuk from Slave Island to Galle Face Green. Simply flag down a tuk-tuk or ask your hotel to arrange one for you.
