    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Galle Fort, exit through the main gate and head straight down Church Street. Continue walking until you reach the Galle Clock Tower. From there, take a left onto Galle Road (A2). Walk along Galle Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass various shops and local eateries. After about 20 minutes of walking, look for the sign for Gintota Beach on your right. Cross the road carefully and follow the path leading down to the beach.

    From any location in Galle, hail a tuk-tuk and tell the driver you want to go to Gintota Beach. Make sure to mention the landmark 'Galle Rd' as they will be familiar with it. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the beach access point, which is marked by a sign. You may need to walk a short distance to reach the sandy area.

    Public Bus

    Head to the Galle bus station, which is located near the Galle Fort. Look for buses heading towards the Hikkaduwa route. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Gintota.
