From Hikkaduwa, find a tuk-tuk stand, they are common near the beach and the main road. Tell the driver you want to go to Kanneliya Rainforest in Galle, which is around 15 km away. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.

Head to the main bus station in Hikkaduwa, located near the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Galle. Ask the conductor to let you know when to get off for Kanneliya Rainforest. You will need to get off at the Galle bus station. From there, you can take another tuk-tuk or a local bus towards Panangala, Koralegama; the rainforest is approximately 12 km from Galle. The total travel time could be around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on waiting times.
