If you are starting from the Jaffna Fort, head east on Hospital Road until you reach the intersection with C. W. W. Kannangara Road. Turn left onto C. W. W. Kannangara Road and continue straight. You will pass the Jaffna Public Library on your left. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout near the Jaffna Cultural Centre. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto B305. Continue walking along B305 for about 1.5 kilometers. Muniappar Kovil will be on your right side. Look for the distinctive architecture of the temple as you approach.
