Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kalutara. Head north on the A2 road (Galle Road) towards Moratuwa. Keep driving for approximately 10 kilometers. When you reach the Moratuwa area, look for the PVQX+4CH location on your GPS. The Boat House is located near the Moratuwa River, and you should be able to see the river from the road. Parking may be limited, so look for available spots nearby.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Boat House using public transportation, take a bus from Kalutara to Moratuwa. Buses frequently run along the A2 road. Look for a bus that has 'Moratuwa' displayed on its front. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 50 LKR. Once you reach the Moratuwa bus station, you can either walk to the Boat House, which is roughly a 15-minute walk, or take a tuk-tuk for about 100 LKR.
Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a train from Kalutara South station to Moratuwa station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around 30 LKR. Upon arrival at Moratuwa station, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the Boat House. The walking distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers, which should take around 20-25 minutes, or you can opt for a tuk-tuk ride costing about 150 LKR.
