If you're driving, head towards the Kalutara town center. From there, take the A2 road southbound. Follow the road until you see signs for Kalutara North. Turn left at the sign that indicates Kalutara North and continue straight. You will eventually reach the beach area where there are parking facilities available.
Public Transportation
To reach Kalutara Beach using public transportation, find the nearest bus station in Kalutara town. Look for buses heading towards Kalutara North; ask locals for assistance if needed. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Kalutara Beach. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the beach; it is a short walk from the bus stop.
