Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Kalutara town, head south on the Galle Road (A2) towards Wadduwa. Continue for about 7 kilometers. Once you reach Wadduwa, look for the sign for Thalpitiya beach, which will direct you towards the beach area. You will turn onto a smaller road leading to the beach. Follow this road until you reach the designated parking area near the beach. Parking may be available for a small fee.

Public Transportation
From Kalutara town, you can take a bus heading towards Wadduwa. Look for buses labeled 'Wadduwa' at the bus station. The ride should take approximately 20 minutes and cost around 30 LKR. Once you arrive in Wadduwa, ask locals for directions to Thalpitiya beach, which is about a 1 kilometer walk from the bus stop. Alternatively, you can hire a tuk-tuk from the bus stop to take you directly to the beach for about 200-300 LKR.
