Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from Kegalle town. Head east on the A1 road towards Nuwara Eliya. After approximately 15 kilometers, take a right turn onto the B40 road towards Laxapana. Continue on the B40 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Laxapana Falls. Look for signs indicating the falls; there is a small parking area available near the entrance.

    From Kegalle town, take a bus heading towards Nuwara Eliya. After about 15 kilometers, get off at the Laxapana Junction. From there, you can either walk or hire a tuk-tuk to cover the remaining 5 kilometers to Laxapana Falls. The tuk-tuk ride will cost approximately 300-500 LKR, depending on negotiation.
