If you're traveling by car, start from Kurunegala city center and head northwest on the A6 road towards Melsiripura. After approximately 7 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to the coordinates FFJM+J52. Continue straight for about 3 km, and you will find Bread Rock on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the area.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Kurunegala city center to Melsiripura. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare is approximately LKR 30. Once you reach Melsiripura, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Bread Rock for about LKR 200-300. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, as it is a well-known location.
Walking from a Drop-off Point
If you arrive by public transportation, and are dropped off near the coordinates FFJM+J52, you may have to walk about 1 km to reach the foot of Bread Rock. Follow the path leading uphill; the terrain can be a bit rough, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
