Walking
From the Matara Bus Station, head east on Matara - Weligama Road (A2). Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Weligama. As you approach Weligama, you will see the coastal road to your left. Keep walking straight, and you will see Kushtarajagala on your right. The landmark is located near the beach, surrounded by lush greenery, making it easy to spot.
Tuk-Tuk
You can easily hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Matara. Simply ask the driver to take you to Kushtarajagala in Weligama, situated on A2. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure the driver knows the location, as it is a well-known landmark. Once you arrive, they can drop you off right at the entrance.
Public Bus
From Matara, take a local bus heading towards Weligama. Buses leave frequently from the Matara Bus Station. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Weligama, ask the conductor to let you know when you reach Kushtarajagala, or you can look for signs as you approach. After getting off the bus, walk towards the coast, and you will find Kushtarajagala a short distance away.
