    From the center of Mirissa, head east on the main road (Matara-Mirissa Road). Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Mirissa Beach. Turn left at the junction and continue walking straight along the beach road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the Stilt Fishermen at Koggala Beach along the way. The stilt fisherman site is located just past the beach area, where you can see them fishing from their stilts.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    Hail a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Mirissa. Tell the driver you want to go to Koggala to see the Stilt Fishermen. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the fishing pier area at Koggala Beach, where you can find the stilt fishermen.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mirissa. Start by cycling east on the main road (Matara-Mirissa Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the beach junction, turn left and continue cycling along the beach road for about 1 kilometer. You will find the Stilt Fishermen at Koggala Beach. There is usually a designated area where you can safely park your bicycle.
