Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you are going to 'Pettah' or 'W E Bastian Mawatha'. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. After reaching Pettah, disembark at the Pettah Market area.

You can also hire a tuk-tuk from your location in Negombo. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Floating Market - Pettah' or 'W E Bastian Mawatha'. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 1,500-2,000 LKR. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

If you prefer traveling by train, make your way to the Negombo Railway Station. Board a train heading towards Colombo Fort. Once you arrive at Colombo Fort Station, exit the station and take a tuk-tuk or walk to W E Bastian Mawatha. The train journey will take about 30-40 minutes, and then you can expect a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride to the Floating Market.

If you are staying near the coast, you can enjoy a scenic walk towards Colombo, but please note that this is quite a distance (approximately 35 km) and may take several hours.
