Walking
From Negombo Beach, head east on Lewis Place towards the main road (Coconut Road). Turn right onto Coconut Road and continue straight. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the junction with Colombo Road (A3). Cross the road carefully and continue straight onto Galle Road. Rukmani Devi Park is located about 500 meters down Galle Road on your left. Look for the park entrance marked with a sign.
Tuk Tuk
If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a Tuk Tuk from anywhere in Negombo. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Rukmani Devi Park. Most drivers are familiar with the park's location. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the main entrance of the park.
Bicycle
If you rent a bicycle, start from the main beach area and head east on Lewis Place. Continue straight until you reach Coconut Road, then turn right. Follow Coconut Road until you reach the junction with Colombo Road (A3). Carefully cross to Galle Road and continue for about 500 meters. Rukmani Devi Park will be on your left. This route will take about 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
