Car
If you are driving, start your journey in Kurunegala, the central hub of North Western Province. From Kurunegala, take the A10 road towards Melsiripura. After approximately 15 km, turn onto the B368 road towards Great Western. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the entrance to the Great Western Mountain area. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation
To reach Great Western Mountain using public transportation, take a bus from Kurunegala to Melsiripura. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal in Kurunegala. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. Once you arrive in Melsiripura, you can take a tuk-tuk (auto rickshaw) to the entrance of Great Western Mountain for around 300 LKR. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride.
