    From the Nuwara Eliya city center, start at the Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Head east on Post Office Road towards the Main Street. Continue straight onto the A5 highway (also known as the Nuwara Eliya - Kandy Road) and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Galboda Falls. After reaching the Galboda area, follow the local signs directing you to the Galboda Falls Trail. The trailhead is located near the main road.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From the Nuwara Eliya city center, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk from any of the local stands, such as near the Nuwara Eliya Market. Tell the driver you want to go to Galboda Falls. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the A5 highway towards Kandy and drop you close to the Galboda Falls Trail entrance. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you near the trailhead for easy access.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Nuwara Eliya. Start from the city center and ride towards the A5 highway. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the signs for Galboda Falls. The route is mostly downhill, making it an enjoyable ride. Once you see the signs for the Galboda area, find a safe spot to park your bicycle before heading onto the trail.
