Walking
If you are starting from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance, head south on the main road (Lion's Rock Road) towards the village of Sigiriya. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the XQ43+M98 location, which is nearby the Inner Moat. Look for signs indicating 'Inner Moat' as you approach. The Inner Moat is located just off the main pathway, so keep an eye out for pathways leading to it.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. From the bike rental location, head south on Lion's Rock Road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers. As you near the XQ43+M98 location, you will see signs for the Inner Moat. Park your bicycle in the designated area and walk towards the moat. The area is easily accessible and well-marked.
