Walking
From the center of Sigiriya, head north on the main road (Sigiriya Road) towards the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Sigiriya Rock. As you approach, you will see Pidurangala Rock on your left, just beyond the Sigiriya Fortress. To reach Pidurangala, take a left at the entrance of the Sigiriya Rock and walk approximately 1 kilometer along the path that leads to Pidurangala.
Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a Tuk-Tuk from any point in Sigiriya. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Pidurangala Rock. The journey should take about 10 minutes from the center of Sigiriya. The driver will drop you off at the base of Pidurangala, where you can start your hike to the top.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Sigiriya. Once you have your bike, head north on Sigiriya Road. Ride straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. From there, take a left onto the path leading to Pidurangala, which is about 1 kilometer away. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you pedal to your destination.
