Walking
If you're starting from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, exit the fortress area and head north towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and follow the road for about 500 meters until you reach the junction near Pidurangala Temple. At this junction, take a right turn onto the Pidurangala Temple Road. Continue walking along this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you towards the Pidurangala Rock. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance of the Pidurangala Temple, where you can begin your ascent to the Sigiriya View Point.

If you are starting from the Sigiriya Village, head towards the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. As you approach the fortress, look for signs indicating the direction to Pidurangala Temple. Walk past the main entrance of the fortress and continue straight until you reach the main road. Take a left at the main road and walk for about 500 meters until you arrive at the junction. Turn right onto Pidurangala Temple Road and proceed for about 1 kilometer. Follow the signs to the Pidurangala Temple entrance, where you can then start your hike to the View Point.
