From Galle, board a bus heading to Matara. The bus fare is approximately 150 LKR. Once you reach Matara, switch to a bus heading to Udawalawa. This bus will take you directly to the reservoir area. The bus fare from Matara to Udawalawa is about 50 LKR. Be prepared for a journey of about 1.5 to 2 hours in total. Depending on the bus schedule, plan your visit accordingly as buses may not run frequently.
