Cross the bridge and continue straight. Follow the road signs that guide you towards Nieuw Amsterdam. After crossing the bridge, you will be in the vicinity of Nieuw Amsterdam. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the area of VWP5+V4P, where Fort Nieuw Amsterdam is located. The fort will be on your left; look for the entrance.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main square in Mariënburg and pedal east along the main road towards the Suriname River. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, continue straight. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Fort Nieuw Amsterdam.
