Getting There

    Start at the Mariënburg bus stop. From there, head southeast on the main road toward the intersection with the Paramaribo-Lelydorp road (also known as the Ringweg). Once you reach the intersection, turn right and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bridge over the Suriname River. Cross the bridge, enjoying the scenic views of the river. After crossing, you will find yourself on the main road leading into Paramaribo. Continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you reach the city center.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from Mariënburg and ride southeast towards the Paramaribo-Lelydorp road. Turn right at the intersection and cycle along the Ringweg for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Suriname River bridge. Cross the bridge, and then continue straight into the city center, which is about a 2-kilometer ride from the bridge. The ride should take around 20-25 minutes depending on your speed.
