  • Walking

    If you are at the center of Paramaribo, start by heading northwest towards the Jodenbreestraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Lalarookhweg. Turn left onto the Lalarookhweg, and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. After reaching the intersection with the Spathodelaan, turn right. Continue straight on Spathodelaan for another 500 meters. The Paramaribo Zoo will be on your left.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start from the city center and cycle northwest towards the Jodenbreestraat. Turn left onto the Lalarookhweg and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. Be mindful of traffic and pedestrians. After reaching the Spathodelaan intersection, make a right turn. Keep cycling straight on Spathodelaan for approximately 500 meters until you reach Paramaribo Zoo on your left.
