Walking
If you are starting from the Paramaribo Central Market, head east on Henck Arronstraat. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Abraham Crijnssenweg. Turn left onto Abraham Crijnssenweg and continue walking for another 5 minutes. You will see Fort Zeelandia on your left. The Surinaams Museum is located inside Fort Zeelandia at Abraham Crijnssenweg 1.
Walking
From Independence Square, start by heading north on Domineestraat. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Waterkant. Turn right onto Waterkant and continue until you reach the intersection with Abraham Crijnssenweg. Turn left onto Abraham Crijnssenweg, and after a few minutes of walking, you will arrive at Fort Zeelandia, where the Surinaams Museum is located.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the Paramaribo Central Market, look for a bus that goes towards Fort Zeelandia or Waterkant. After a short ride of about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop near Fort Zeelandia. Walk towards Abraham Crijnssenweg, and you will find the Surinaams Museum located inside Fort Zeelandia.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from any local rental shop in Paramaribo. Start from the city center and head towards Abraham Crijnssenweg. Follow the road for about 15 minutes until you reach Fort Zeelandia. The Surinaams Museum is situated inside the fort.
