Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Lysekil. From the E6 highway, take the exit for Lysekil, following signs towards the city center. Once in Lysekil, follow Vikenvägen. The nature reserve is located at Vikenvägen, 453 30 Lysekil. There is free parking available near the entrance of the reserve. Make sure to check your fuel levels, as the nearest gas station may be a few kilometers away in the city.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Stångehuvuds nature reserve using public transportation, take a bus to Lysekil from neighboring towns like Uddevalla or Gothenburg. Bus line 840 runs frequently to Lysekil. Once you arrive at the Lysekil bus station, you can either walk (approximately 2 km) or take a local taxi to reach Vikenvägen, where the nature reserve is located. • Walking from Lysekil City Center

  If you're already in Lysekil, you can walk to Stångehuvuds nature reserve. From the city center, head southwest on Storgatan, then take a left onto Vikenvägen. Follow Vikenvägen as it leads directly to the reserve. The walk is about 2 kilometers and takes roughly 25-30 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
