Car
If you're driving from Falun, take Road 50 towards Hedemora. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Hedemora. Once in Hedemora, follow signs for Österbyvägen. Turn onto Österbyvägen, and you will find Stadsberget at Österbyvägen 7. There is a small parking area available right before you enter the forest. Please note that parking may be limited during busy times.
Public Transportation
To reach Stadsberget using public transport, start by taking a train from Falun to Hedemora. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hedemora station, you can either walk (approximately 25 minutes) or take a local bus that goes towards Österbyvägen. If taking the bus, check the local bus schedule for the most current routes and times. The bus should drop you off close to Österbyvägen, from where you can walk to Stadsberget at Österbyvägen 7.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Hedemora, you can walk to Stadsberget. From the town center, head southeast towards Österbyvägen. The walk should take around 30 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the local scenery and keep an eye out for signs directing you to the national reserve.
