If you're driving, navigate to Packhusplatsen 12 in Gothenburg using a GPS or map application. Once you reach Central Gothenburg, follow signs for the waterfront. You'll pass by the Opera House; continue straight until you see the large harbor area. Look for the Maritiman museum, which is located at Packhusplatsen, near the water's edge. Parking may be available nearby in public lots, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
To reach Maritiman by public transport, start by taking tram line 3 or 9 from any central Gothenburg tram stop. Ride the tram towards 'Kungsten' or 'Frölunda Torg' respectively. Get off at the 'Kungsportsplatsen' stop, which is the main square. From there, walk towards the waterfront. You can follow the signs to 'Packhusplatsen.' It’s about a 10-minute walk along the water. You may also consider taking bus line 16 or 50 which stops near the waterfront as well.
