Car
If you are driving from any part of the Gothenburg Archipelago, head towards Gothenburg city center. Use the E6 motorway and follow signs for Gothenburg. Once you reach Gothenburg, follow the signs for Hisingen and the ferry terminal. You will need to park your car at the ferry terminal. Please note that parking fees may apply, and it’s advisable to check for parking availability ahead of time.
Ferry
From the ferry terminal in Gothenburg, take the ferry to Röda Sten. Ferries run frequently, but it’s best to check the schedule on the Västtrafik website or app for the latest information on departure times. The ferry ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes. A ticket for the ferry costs around 35 SEK for adults, and it is recommended to purchase your ticket in advance.
Walking
Once you disembark from the ferry at Röda Sten, you will be just a short walk away from your destination. Head straight towards Röda Sten 1, which is where the Röda Sten Konsthall is located. The walk should take no more than 5 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the waterfront as you make your way to the art center.
