Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs centralstation), exit the station and head towards the main street, Nils Ericsonsgatan. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan. Turn left onto Drottninggatan and continue walking until you arrive at the large square, Kungsportsplatsen. From Kungsportsplatsen, you will see the prominent Gothenburg Opera House; walk past it to your left and continue straight along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Kyrkogatan. Turn right onto Kyrkogatan, and the Gothenburg Cathedral will be on your left at Kyrkogatan 28.

  • Tram

    From Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs centralstation), you can take Tram Line 3 or 9. Board the tram at the station and travel towards either 'Saltholmen' or 'Frölunda Torg'. Get off at the stop 'Domkyrkan', which is the closest stop to Gothenburg Cathedral. Upon exiting the tram, walk down the street 'Kyrkogatan', and the cathedral will be located at 28 Kyrkogatan, just a short walk away.
