Starting from the Haga area, head south on Haga Nygata towards the intersection with Vasagatan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Stora Nygatan. Turn left onto Stora Nygatan and walk until you reach the canal. Cross the canal using the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach Stenpiren 1, where the Delawaremonumentet is located. The monument is a short walk of approximately 15-20 minutes from Haga.

From Haga, walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Grönsakstorget', which is about a 5-minute walk. At the stop, take Tram Line 3 (towards Tynnered) or Tram Line 9 (towards Frölunda Torg).
