Walking
If you're in the heart of Majorna, start by heading towards the nearest tram stop, which is likely to be 'Mariaplan' or 'Saltholmen'. From there, you can take tram number 11 or 9 in the direction of 'Saltholmen'. After a short ride, disembark at 'Mariaplan'. The stop is very close to your destination. Simply follow the signs for 'Mariaplan Park', and you will find it easily. The tram fare is approximately 35 SEK for a one-way ticket, which can be purchased at the tram stop or via the Västtrafik app.
Bus
If you are located towards the northern part of Majorna, you can walk to the nearest bus stop, which could be 'Majornas kyrka' or another nearby stop. From there, board bus number 60 heading towards 'Lindholmen'. After a few stops, get off at 'Mariaplan'. The bus will drop you off just a short walk from the park. The bus ticket costs around 35 SEK and can be purchased at the bus stop or through the Västtrafik app.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Gothenburg. Head towards Mariaplan by following the designated bike lanes. The route is quite scenic and will take you through the charming streets of Majorna. Once you arrive at Mariaplan, there are bike racks available for parking. Keep in mind that bike rental can cost around 50 SEK per hour.
