If you are in the city center of Jönköping, start at Jönköping Central Station. Head south on Västra Storgatan towards Södra Strandgatan. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Once you reach the shore of Lake Vättern, turn left and walk along the promenade. After about 1.5 km, you will see Vikingaskeppet (553 23 Jönköping) on your right. It's located near the water, so keep an eye out for the ship.

From Jönköping Central Station, take bus number 4 or 5 towards 'A6 Center.' Alight at the 'Vikingaskeppet' stop. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the lake, and you will see Vikingaskeppet directly ahead. The bus service is frequent, so you won't have to wait long.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from various bike rental services in the city center. Start from Jönköping Central Station and head south on Västra Storgatan. Follow the same route as walking, but you can take the bike path along the waterfront. This route is approximately 2 km long and takes around 10 minutes. Vikingaskeppet will be on your right as you approach the waterfront.
