Walking
Start at the main train station in Karlstad (Karlstad Centralstation). Exit the station and head south on Drottninggatan, the main shopping street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Östra Tullgatan. Here, turn left onto Östra Tullgatan. After a few blocks, you'll see a park on your right. Cross the street and continue along the park's edge. Follow the path as it curves towards the river. Keep walking along the riverbank until you reach a pedestrian bridge (Bron över Klarälven). Cross the bridge and turn right onto the path that leads along the river. This path will lead you directly towards Mariebergsskogen, which is located on the other side of the river.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations near the Karlstad Centralstation. Head south on Drottninggatan, and continue onto Östra Tullgatan. Once you reach the park, follow the bike path along the river. You will find clear signage directing you to Mariebergsskogen. The cycling route is approximately 3 kilometers and should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.

Public Transport
From Karlstad Centralstation, take bus number 8 towards 'Marieberg'. The bus stop is located just outside the station. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Marieberg' bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Mariebergsskogen. Follow the signs that will lead you to the entrance of the park located on Treffenbergsvägen.
